Reading Strategies: August 20th, 2012: True Crime: Random Shootings

Daily Reading Objective: DRO

Before we read:

1) What is a random shooting?

2) What reasons could a person have for randomly shooting another person?

3) Do you know anyone that was a victim of a random shooting?  Who?  What happened?

During Reading:

Find at least 2 vocabulary words that are unfamilar to you.  Put these in your notebook.  Use context clues to identify meaning of the words.

  1. 1)A random shooting is when somebody shoot for no reason.
    2)They could be having problems in their life which they chose to hurt people as bad as their hurtin.
    3)Yes I know two people one was a family member the other was a close friend.They was out having fun and they got shoot because they at the wrong place at the wrong time.
