To persuade is like making someone buy a product and not the other.
To inform is to state facts of what needs to bne done or happening.
To entertain is to amuse and make fun and luagh

  4. 1) Decribe each of the three purposes.
To inform is to give out information that is true.
To entertain is to sometimes make you laugh and enjoy the story.
To persuade is trying to convince you to get the product.

  9. 1) The author’s purpose to entertain their readers is to make them laugh. For example. the Author could write a story about a person watching a funny movie or just playing around with friends. The author’s purpose to inform their readers is to give them facts or tell a true story. For example, the author can write a passage about slavery or give facts about cells in the body. The author’s purpose to persuade is to get someone to buy something or just get them to do something. For example, the author can write a story about how great country is and they will try to get you to go visit or they could write a passage about a certain product and they will try to get you to buy it.
